Ms. Kuiper is Senior Director, New Business Development / Venturing for Philips. There she is responsible for designing and implementing corporate new business development / venturing policy and standards, business processes, governance, infrastructure, training and support for Philips worldwide. She is the primary point of contact between the NBD/venture initiatives in Philips Corporate Technologies and the Philips Sectors, and sits on all three of the Philips' Business Development Investment Boards. Ms. Kuiper also provides assistance in portfolio management to each of the company's incubators, as well as individual venture assessment and advisory support across Philips. She has been instrumental in shaping the venture development standards and internal venture training now employed by Philips throughout the company.

Over the past 19 years Ms. Kuiper has held a variety of strategic management, business development and financial management positions at Philips, including Strategist of the Product Division Business Electronics, SVP Strategy and Organizational Development of FEI, and Senior Director Strategic and Financial Analysis of Medical Systems. She has particular expertise and a proven track record in strategic planning, business development, change management, (open) innovation management and pre- and post-acquisition processes. She has also led successful breakthrough / change programs at Philips, including post-merger programs at FEI and Philips Medical Systems and Best in Finance program in the area of Decision Support (portfolio management, valuation of innovation and new business development).

Ms. Kuiper holds a Masters in Economics, cum laude, from Tilburg University and in Technical Management, cum laude, from Technical University of Eindhoven. She is a certified Executive Master of Finance & Control, University of Amsterdam.
